In a controlled test in an uninsulated, Sydney suburban home during
summer, the roofspace temperature was 17.5% hotter without
ventilation. But importantly, the inside of the home was 10% cooler with
ventilation.
Moisture control in wet weather
Because the air in the roof space is being ventilated it helps to minimise
moisture build up in wet weather.
More pleasant living space temperature
Releasing the build up of air temperatures in the roof space can
ultimately result in more pleasant temperatures in your home.
